How Chemotherapy Works?

Chemotherapy is also known as "chemo" that uses drugs to kill cancer cells. It is the most common treatment for cancer and there are more than 100 different chemotherapy drugs. Sometimes, chemo treats cancer by itself but it is also used in combination with surgery, radiation therapy, and biological therapy. An oncologist may prescribe one chemo drug or a mix of different ones depending on the type of cancer you have and how severe it is.   • Fight only cancer cells
